Side Effects From Carblevo

Has anyone elese experienced numbness in there feet and freezing of legs? It has been happening to me about 1 hour before I take my meds. Medication seems t be lasting only about 5 hours. Is this normal?
I am also taking Mirepex with the Carblevo.

Any input would be appreciated.

Hi Catrina,

My findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between these two drugs. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of:

"Using levodopa together with pramipexole may increase the effects of levodopa. Contact your doctor if you experience nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, weakness, fainting, confusion, hallucinations, muscle twitching, and agitation. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor."

To add, muscle pain, numbness or tingly feeling are two of the less serious side effects associated with Carbidopa/Levidopa. I would definitely speak with your doctor about changing your dosage. I'm not sure why he prescribed you two medications that have potentially unsafe reactions in the first place, but I suppose you can ask him that during your next appointment.
