Side -effects Pankreoflat

i am healty but have a problem with irritable bowl sindrome. I dont take medication for it. Are there any side effects that i should know of if i am taking pankreoflat. Do i have to have a prescribtion. I am 75 years old

Pankreoflat contains Dimethicone and Pancreatin. The Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme and Dimethicone is used to prevent or treat gas.

As to whether or not it requires a prescription, that depends on what country you are in. I know in the U.S. the Pancreatin is an over the counter supplement and the Dimethicone is not available, we use Simethicone, instead.

This also means that I don't have information on the side effects for you.

I was prescribed Pankreoflat by a Gastro Consultant in Spain. 1 Tablet with every meal. On the first day I had 3 meals and 3 tablets. two hours after the third tablet, whilst watching TV, I experienced an increased heart rate of 100 beats a minute. Heart rate dropped to 67 beats a minute after half an hour. I take 200mg Diltazeum and 50mg Losarton for BP. I have been on BP medication for some three years now without this happening.
Can the problem be caused by Pankreoflat?

taking pankreoflat tab for last one month observed that feeling too much hungry nn every 2 hrs also feeeling abdomanal pain burning sensaton too. iam also takng insusnn 15-10 . pleae let me know whether t s for the tab or not . what side effects may come.

I have also observed increased hunger after taking pankreoflat... Have you confirmed about this side effect from doctor.

I have had trouble digesting food lately. After I eat, I have rotten-smelling gases which I belch out. A few hours later I have diarrhea, but the gases persist for at least a day or two. As I said, belching out this gas smells awful. I have this problem roughly one to two times per month. I took Pankreoflat and it calmed my stomach a little. How long should I take Pankreoflat, and how often? Also, any idea what could be causing my stomach problems?
