Side Effects Prexum

I have been on dyna indapamiide sr for a number of years, about 2 months ago my blood pressure increased, so my Dr added Prexum 4mgs to be taken together each morning, since being on the Prexum, I have developed a slight cough & an extremely runny nose, feels as if I have a permanent cold, which it isn't, could this be the prexum ?

Prexum is listed as containing the active ingredient Perindopril, which the U.S. FDA classifies as an ARB and yes, it can cause such symptoms as side effects, in some people that take it. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination.

You should speak to your doctor, as you may need to switch to a different medication. Once the cough starts, it doesn't usually go away.
