Side Effects Peridone

my doctor has put me on methodone 90 mg. per day for severe pain. The medication seems to work well. I want to know if peradone would be a better drug,i have used it before and it also worked well for me. What i want to know is which is best for long turn effects.

Peridone contains the active ingredient Domperidone and it is not used to treat pain. It is used to help prevent nausea and vomiting, as well as to increase intestinal motility and to promote lactation.

It is a narcotic analgesic.

Since they are both narcotics, the long-term risks are virtually the same, except for the fact that the Methadone is much more habit forming and addictive, so it can also be very difficult to ever stop taking.
