Side Effects Of Ropinirole Hydrochloride.25mg

my mom has been taking syndopa275, ropark(ropinirole .25 ,lioresal-10(baclofen) & b.crip 1.25 (bromocriptine mesylate i.p ) for the past 2 years .for the past 2 months she is not able to recognise even her daughters .she is 83 years old .she neednt talk .even if she gives us a recognised look we will be immensely pleased .is it because of prolonged use of drcs .please enlighten me

I am assuming from the list of medications you provided that your mother is being treated for Parkinson's Disease or something similar to it, because that it generally what these are all used for.

In this case, I doubt the problem is being caused by any of the medications. Parkinson's is a degenerative condition that can worsen with time and one it can have detrimental effects on the brain and memory is one of the areas most commonly affected.

Usually, however, the person can reach those memories, to recognize a person or place if they are given clues, so you may need to start helping her by giving her the idea of who you are.

Have you consulted with her doctor? If her illness if progressing, she may need some changes made to her medications.

Hi,

My father is 75 years old and he is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and he is taking below medicines-

-Syndopa (275mg)-3 times
-Ropark 0.5 (2 times)
-Amantrel (100mg)-2 times
-Rasalect 2.5 - 1 BD

Recently, he is getting very confused and talking irrelevant manner continuously. Could you please confirm if this is the adverse effect of any of the medicine?
