Each tablet contains:
tranexamic acid --500 mg
mefenamic acid --250 mg
exipients --q.s.

Dosage - as directed by gynaecologist.

Hi, I am 28 years old and having problems with my periods. Firstly, they are irregular (one month bleeding for 5 days, next month 15 days, also does not come regularly). Secondly, between periods there is constant spotting or rather - strand-like blood discharge constantly. When I visited a doctor she did an examination and said that my cervix was congested hence the problem. She has advised me to take Trapic MF for this. Please - is this correct? Does this tablet have any negative side effects? Should I go for a second opinion?

Hi I am 38 yrs old, My periods used to come exactly on 29 days.during menses it bleeds heavily,so much that it leaks out frequntly.it lasts for 6 days. I consulted a dr. She prescribed me trapic mf. does this tablet have any side effects and will i put on weight after taking this tablet. Please advice

Uhh.. hi.. :)

I am 16 years old and have been having problems with my menstrual cycle.. It has been irregular since an year and in the month of May of this year, it skipped, and in June.. though I had my periods - it was very much obstructed. And this July I have been having periods like since 16 long days(the bleeding is not that excessive either, just normal and the stomach pain/cramps is quite bearable like I have usually.. but I am feeling weak) .. My doctor gave me a tablet - Pause - MF ..
Can someone please tell me if this tablet actually works?? And if it does work - does it show/have any sort of side effacts??

Please let me know. :(

hi.for some difficulty like stomach pain during menstruation doctor adviced me to take trapic mf and i am taking it from the last 3 years.my question is that,recently it detects that i have high tsh level ,hypothyroidism-does it a side effect of trapic mf?or should i off this medicine due to hypothyroidism?pls help me out.

MY AGE IS 50. STILL I AM GETTING MY PERIODS. FROM LAST 1 YEAR I AM FINDING HEAVY BLEEDING WITH STOMACH PAIN. GYNOCOLOGIST DID D & C AND PRESCRIBED 4 CYCLES OF HRT TREATMETN WITH WTIH KRIMNSON 35 AND AFTER THAT ALSO I GOT MY PERIODS. AGAIN DOCTOR ADVISED ME TO TAKE TRAPIC MF WHENEVER HEAVY BLEEDING IS THERE. STILL I AM GETTING PERIODS WITH HEAVY FLOW FOR 1ST 3 DAYS. MY SCAN REPORTS ARE CLEAR WITH NO CIST OR OTEHR PROBLEM. PLEASE ADVISE ME WHETHER I CAN TAKE TRAPIC MF WITHOUT ANY SIDE EFFECT AND HOW MANY DAYS IT IS TO BE TAKEN AND IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT WITH THAT.

i am 19yrs old. for past three months my periods were irregular. also that in this month more than 15 days am bleeding... i went for a check up and doctor said to take trapicmf tablet and they took blood test which was normal. and they said me to come for scan. Is it needed?

hi I am 32+ ,after 4months I got my periods after taking Meprate but after waiting for 10days it did not come so I took Dopaston and with 1 tab I got my periods,but on 3rd day I got small clots,I has 2 times myeoctomy(fibrosis surgery).so Doctor prescribed me for Trapic Mf.Is it safe to take it?

Trapic is commonly used to treat these types of conditions, it affects the clotting factor to help stop the bleeding.

You will commonly find Tranxemic acid sold in the US under the name Cyklokapron.

So the reason your doctor prescribed it is to help stop the regular bleeding.

Hi. i had an obortion due to personal reasons in Dec 15th. everything is normal as per doctor. 1st regular period was in Jan 19th for almost 7 days and now 2nd regular period which started in Feb 20 but still continued for 8 days. in between heavy bleeding. Doctor suggested me to take trapic mf. will it work ? any side effect ? pls reply

i am 38 yrs. i am suffering from extra heavy bleeding since commenced, during 20 years. i continued novelon till july 2012.then my doctor advised crysanta but i am getting heavy abdominal pain and cloted bleed during 6 months.now my doctor advised to take tranexa - mf. may i get a solution?
