Trapic mf (film coated tablet)

Colour: yellow oxide of iron, red oxide of iron

Each tablet contains:
tranexamic acid --500 mg
mefenamic acid --250 mg
exipients --q.s.

Dosage - as directed by gynaecologist.

hi.for some difficulty like stomach pain during menstruation doctor adviced me to take trapic mf and i am taking it from the last 3 years.my question is that,recently it detects that i have high tsh level ,hypothyroidism-does it a side effect of trapic mf?or should i off this medicine due to hypothyroidism?pls help me out.

Uhh.. hi.. :)

I am 16 years old and have been having problems with my menstrual cycle.. It has been irregular since an year and in the month of May of this year, it skipped, and in June.. though I had my periods - it was very much obstructed. And this July I have been having periods like since 16 long days(the bleeding is not that excessive either, just normal and the stomach pain/cramps is quite bearable like I have usually.. but I am feeling weak) .. My doctor gave me a tablet - Pause - MF ..
Can someone please tell me if this tablet actually works?? And if it does work - does it show/have any sort of side effacts??

Please let me know. :(

Hi I am 38 yrs old, My periods used to come exactly on 29 days.during menses it bleeds heavily,so much that it leaks out frequntly.it lasts for 6 days. I consulted a dr. She prescribed me trapic mf. does this tablet have any side effects and will i put on weight after taking this tablet. Please advice

iam 41 yrs old ,i have developed left ovarian cyst of 4.8x4.1,i have skipped one period cycle,but now i have heavy bleeding past 24 days, is it ok to trapic mf,,,,,what are the side effcts of this medicine,will i gain weight by taking this? plz reply soon

Hi, I have a son 8 year old, he his hemophilia patient and some time his suffering from bleeding disorder.
I have consuled doctor and he suggeted to take the pause tablet. I got the trapic isted of pause. Can i go for use this??

I am 44years old.My periods used to come after 25-27 days.during menses it bleeds heavily,so much that it leaks out frequntly.it lasts for 4-5 days.A doctor friend of mine has advised me to take Trapic E,2 to 3 during menses,to control heavy bleeding.Does this tablet have any negative side effects? Should I go for a second opinion?

Trapic is commonly used to treat these types of conditions, it affects the clotting factor to help stop the bleeding.

You will commonly find Tranxemic acid sold in the US under the name Cyklokapron.

So the reason your doctor prescribed it is to help stop the regular bleeding.

Hi, I am 28 years old and having problems with my periods. Firstly, they are irregular (one month bleeding for 5 days, next month 15 days, also does not come regularly). Secondly, between periods there is constant spotting or rather - strand-like blood discharge constantly. When I visited a doctor she did an examination and said that my cervix was congested hence the problem. She has advised me to take Trapic MF for this. Please - is this correct? Does this tablet have any negative side effects? Should I go for a second opinion?
