Sangobion is a vitamin supplement containing:

Copper sulfate (200 mcg), Fe gluconate (250 mg), folic acid (1 mg), manganese sulfate (200 mcg), sorbitol (25 mg), vit B12 (7.5 mcg), vit C (50 mg).

It is used primarily to treat iron deficiency anemia.

I am afraid that since it is a supplement and not classified as a drug, I can't find the rest of the information you are seeking regarding side effects. If this is taken properly by a healthy individual I can say that there shouldn't be any side effects other than the possibility of digestive issues with the pills. I am not a doctor; just basing this info off of close friends experiences and personal experiences with taking multivitamin pills.

It is important to know that if you are not taking these vitamins because of nutrient deficiency, that this can cause an imbalance of nutrients in your system and therefore may not be nearly as effective. More does not always mean better in the field of nutrition. You can obtain all the above nutrients in whole foods that contain the right amount of each of these nutrients that the body needs.

Since i started taking sangobion, I feel sleepy and when i eat breakfast after 2 or 3 hours i feel hungry again. Is that natural or a side effect of sangobion capsule? Thanks.

I have been bleeding for the past weeks due to side effect of my chemo treatment (cervical cancer late year 2008 ). 2010 I was hospitalized for bleeding and all was well. last year bleeding started on and off and became worst in november due to taking care of my grandkid it was very tiring job. I was bleeding very badly and hospitalized. Doctor did cleaning of my bladder where there was numerous blood clot. I had surgery in dec and again jan this year. It did helped but I was still bleeding on and off every month. My immune system was really bad..and my body was in a wreck. I went to the chinese physician to treat my immunity. apart from taking sangobion, I have been on this DrPPAr health product that helps tremendously. Dr did mentioned bleeding will re-occur on off due to the chemo/radio treatment. after I left hospital in Jan my haemoglobin count was 9. after i took Dr PPAr product it went up to 10.4 my last checkup on 25/7/14. I went again for full blood count on 30/7/2014 as my bleeding is still on. report received today - haemoglobin count 10.2 a drop of .20

If I go back to hospital for bladder washing I will definetly get urinary track infection and weakened immune system which doesnt help at all. I am taking 2 capsules sangobion daily and my other vitamins.

Please advise and thank you

im anemic ,i had taken other iron supplement as my doctor prescribed but i stopped it months ago because my stool becomes hard, when i saw the advertise on t.v. i try it right away but im afraid and i dont know whats the proper way of taking it,if theres a bad side effects,please can have the right answer?thanks

I felt the same too. After taking Sangobion, I felt hungry after 1 or 2 hours after meal. If I stop this, the hunger would goes away.

I was born anemic. So its not a surprise to get low hemoglobin count after a routine health evaluation. I'm back on taking sangobion to help increase hemoglobin. More hemoglobin, more red blood cells and more oxygen to the body. I also have thalasssemia and sangobion will surely help me. Im not a doctor or medical practitioner, but why is ferrous gluconate (found in sangobion) suppose to be better than ferrous sulphate? Thanks.

Yes you can, but your hemoglobin is a bit low.. you should consider seeing a doctor. 13 is the average if im not mistaken. Around 7-8, you will need blood transfusion
