Side Effects Information Of Dexamethasone Wanted

Well my dad is taking it appearently and he has had crazy depression ruts, the only real visable side effect that I have seen is eratic mood swings

Rita I have been on this powerful drug for two weeks now, because of major neck fusion. I have noticed some side efects like pouring swet, i never use to swet much. insatieable appetite, Very bad sleep, sleep only 2 or 3 hrs, up the rest. constipation but the most unusual effect was my severve short lasting depression bouts. I am a grown man but found that tears were coming to my eyes for short periods of time then I would bounce back and feel fine. I only have to take this for another couple more weeks and will be glad when done, All that said and done, it was best for me to do this because im am doing very good recovering from my surgery. These are normal side effects that this medication causes for some people, they should taper off as your body gets used to the drug.

I'm 19 and i had this drug given to me when i was 11 to aide my chemotherapy . Because of this drug , i now have had two lateral femur-al decompressions and just 3 weeks ago a total hip replacement in my right hip. My bones are now weaker than a 87yr olds. I also have severe insomnia still after all these years and sleep about 3 hours a night. DON'T TAKE THIS . if i had the choice i would've point blank refused it.

This is a horrible drug. I had every side effect listed and gained 20 lbs. in one month. I had mood swings, sleepless nights, several wounds that wouldn't heal. I'm still having blurry vision.

I take Dex every 3 months for three days straight. This regiment is to reduce my chances of getting MS. I have pretty much all of the side affects each time. Insomnia, upset stomach, significant weight gain, depression, etc. I also get weak, wobbly legs and arms, tingling in my limbs. There is always 3 or 4 days that I am completely wiped out and I try to schedule my treatment so that two of those days are on the weekend. I don't like it at all, but if it does what it is supposed to do, I'll live with the side affects.
