Side Effect Of Nexito 10 (Top voted first)

I am taking everyday. sometime, when I stopped taking
this medicine I really feel very uncomfortable. How can
I stopped taking this medicine. It's almost more then one
year, when I started taking this medicine.

my mother taking nexito for past 10 years. now she stopped taking. is there any side effects or withdrawal symptoms?

Nexito contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant.

When you have been taking them for a long period of time, you will usually require a slow taper, to stop, because a sudden cessation can cause withdrawal effects and rebound symptoms, such as what you experienced, because of their effects on brain chemicals.

hi, io started taking 5mg three weeks back and then was adviced by a docotor to increase the dosage to 10 mg after 2 weeks which i did so too but there was no effect in my health. Now my doctor has adviced me to increase the dosage to 20 m,g in a span of 3 weeks. Can u pls tell me the side effects to the same.

bk, any dosage of this that you are taking is going to take about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full effectiveness in your body, before you know if its working for you, or not. Thus, you should make sure that you say in close touch with your doctor, while increasing the dosage this fast, because, once your body adjusts to the new dosage and it reaches its full effectiveness, it might turn out to be too high of a dosage for you.

The side effects to this might include: nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain.
