Metolar XR contains the active ingredient Metoprolol in a time released formulation, it is a beta blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

And those can be normal side effects that it causes in some people, but they should start to taper off after about 4 to 6 weeks as your body gets used to the medication.

If they don't, or if they get worse, you should consult your doctor as it may be that it's just not the right medication for you to take.
