Showing Positive For Buprenorphine On Drug Test (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I have been a chronic marijuana smoker for years. Recently have had to quit for my job. It took over two months to finally pass clean for THC except that i consistently show positive for Buprenorphine. I do not take any other drugs legal or not, except i do chew tobacco regularly - Is there any possible connection?

When I went for my regular dr visit, my urine test came back positive for subutex/suboxone in my test! I have not ever taken either of these. I take only my daily prescribed medications so I voluntarily took a nail bed test n it came back positive for suboxone but at such a low level they said it was barely detectable. My fiance does take prescribed subutex and we have found out it can be transferred by oral sex, kissing, sweating and this has to be the way I got it in my system. Just wanted to share and let others know it can and did happen to me. My dr has dismissed me but I will prove my innocence at any cost. When you know you have done no wrong you have no choice! I am in TN. These pain dr new laws have gotten crazy! Would love to have any feedback on this.

The above statements run counter to anything (I took 5 panel drug test) and everything I know about Bups...sounds like someone is mad that their drug of choice is positive...boohoowawa
