I got tire of the messy sensation, I am applying the last bottle on my shoulders as a freind is doing it too. Is there any real cientific reason to not apply it on your shoulders or is just a bottle design.

The recommended spots sometimes depend upon the absorption rate. Usually the suggested areas are ones where there is generally a certain layer/thickness of skin and fat that is consistent among most people, to ensure that the medication isn't absorbed too fast, but that the proper dose is still absorbed.

Therefore, it's advisable to only stick with the areas where you have been instructed to apply it.

Is there anything else I can help with?
