My mom had a stroke four months ago and she having some pain on her shoulder and hands and some tingling feeling on the left side of her body (damage part of her stroke). Doctor prescribe her with Gabix but did not help at all. WHAT can she take to help her with the pain, she cant sleep well at night.... Can she take Neurogen-E too? Please help. Thank you

How long did she take the Gabix and at what dose?
That's not an actual analgesic. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain, but it will take about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full efficacy level in the body.
What else has she tried? Does she take any other medications?
