Sertraline And Valium Interactions

I took 40mg of valium. I am also on sertraline 100mg a day. It is simply for my panic disorder. I hardly drink ever.

That's a very high dose of Valium to take, so you need to be careful you don't overdose. Did your doctor instruct you to take that much?

Mixing the two may cause a lot more drowsiness, dizziness and nausea, than usual. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA may include dry mouth, weight gain and mood swings. The Valium also carries the risk of being habit forming.
