Serrapeptase And Xarelto

Can I take Serrapeptase pills when I'm taking Xarelto? Will it affect my blood thinners?

Hello Kita,

Due to Serrapeptase being a vitamin I was unable to find any conclusive evidence that there is a negative interraction between it and the Xarelto. I was able to find on the Serrapeptase manufacturing website a warning that states if you have a bleeding disorder that you should consult your doctor before taking Serrapeptase.

I would advise that you discuss this with your doctor not only because of the Serrapeptase warning but also because both of these work towards preventing blood clotting. I would say it is a strong possibility that taking two medications that thin your blood and prevent blood clotting should likely not be taken together but only your medical professional would be able to give you an accurate answer as to whether or not it is safe for you to take both together given your medical condition and history.
