I was not told the reason I went freaking bald was these pills. My daughter and I are both balding. hell,no I am 4 days off seroquel, welbutrin xl, and buspar, all of which cause hair loss. the doctor took me off 250 seroquel and told me that I would only gain weight on the higher amount. put me on 100 and I gained 20 pounds. mind you I had gastric bypass and eat basically grapes and dang apples. I am itching like crazy and digging like I have something. Hi! I've been taking Seroquel 200mg for 3 weeks and it's been alright, but something is happening at night that's become a concern. I wake up feeling like my chest is tightening, and I can't get comfortable. It's hard to explain. I just feel a tightness throughout my body, and my body keeps tossing and turning due to discomfort. Anyone else have a similar reaction? Is this normal? ## The FDA does report that this medication has been known to cause chest pain as a side effect in some people that take it, along with muscle aches, inability to sit or lie still, restlessness, and weight changes. Are you on any other medications? Anytime it concerns chest pain, it is always best to have it checked out by your doctor to be safe.

I take 400 mg.of Seroquel daily. I'm required to take 3 drug tests weekly and they continue to test positive for Benzo's despite the fact that I take NOTHING but Seroquel. I'm about to get kicked out of my housing for this false positive. I took an employment drug screen, urine test. I took the test 8 days after the last 100mg dose. Will it show up? ## I take 200 mg a day sometimes more of seroquel. Ive taken 3 tests in the last 3 months. 11 panel. and NO it never shows up. I hope thats what happenend to you.

The good news for me is that the treatment I have taken, of which quetiapine (seroquel) was a part, has cured any mental illness I had. And now what it has given me in return is a massive physical problem – weight gain. I read that many people suffer from this same problem. Those symptoms can be withdrawal effects of this medication, if you stop taking it abruptly, you may also experience nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound anxiety, as listed by the FDA. hi, I have been taking quetapel for about 2 months, they really do seem to help with my anxiety and help me get to sleep, but I have noticed I get dizzy even when sitting down, and I hear a strange noise in my ears?? is this normal? ## Hello, Chelsea! How are you? Those can be side effects of this medication, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, headache and weight changes. However, it would be best to have this checked out, because it has also been known to cause blood pressure elevations, which could also cause such symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm not really sure what to call the colour; somewhere between peachy and yellowy. The pills are about 6 mm, round, and scored on one side, down the middle between the APO and the 25. The other side is entirely blank. I've been all over several pill identifiers and such, but the closest I get is the same description with an added mark... one of them is a diuretic and the other is an antipsychotic/sedative and neither are the same as these three little pills I found. I was prescribed seroquel xr only for sleep 150 mg for about 3 to 4 years. Gained about 30 lbs Read on other forums there is no hope getting the weight off when you wean off the drug. Well not true for me anyway. I have been off for 3 months and have lost 16 lbs so far and not dieting. What is the milligram of a small oblong seroquel 377 / 54 ## This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 50mgs of Quetiapine, which is the generic for Seroquel. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sedation, somnolence, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have taken one 100 Mg tablet of seroquel and noticed it can enhance weight gain. Has anyone had any experience with this. I am overweight, and have lost 14 lbs and cannot gain any weight. I would like to know if anyone has experienced skin and muscle mass changes while on Seroquel? I was put on this medication by my psychiatrist almost a year ago to help with manic depressive disorder and sleep problems. At first it seemed to do a wonderful job with minimal side effects (increased appetite and a bit of a dry mouth). I then was given a gradual increase in dosage when sleep problems started to become a problem again. At the increased dosage of 400 mg daily, I noticed that my skin was suddenly taking on a crinkly, crepe paper like appearance and there was a dramatic change in my leg and arm muscle mass with dramatic weakness and leg muscle pain so severe at night that it awakens me from sleep.
