Senario - Should I Take Plan B?

Ok so here’s what happened:

I take Lo Leostrin fe every day, but occasionally I may miss a day or take it hours late if it’s the weekend. I know that this f’s it up because I’ve had breakthrough bleeding even when I take it late in the day.

On Saturday night, my boyfriend and I were pretty drunk and had intercourse. We noticed halfway through that the condom broke, so he put on a new one. He never climaxed, which happens sometimes when he’s drunk.

I’ve been a little sore in my lower abdomen the days after, and I noticed a little discharge today. I’m probably psyching myself out, but since tonight would be the third night since we had intercourse, should I take Plan B? I know that the chances are very low that birth control was not effective and any pre-come containing sperm made it to an egg. But still…. Paranoia.

If you hadn't missed any pills within the week you had intercourse and he didn't ejaculate, then it is doubtful that Plan B would be necessary, unless your doctor thinks you should take it.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and spotting.
