Secondary Withdrawal Bleed?
UpdatedSo I don't have periods. I have pcos and my GP prescribes medroxyprogesterone to shed the lining of my womb at least once every three months.
I take one tablet a day for 12 days and then I have my withdrawal bleed which is basically a normal 5-6 day period. I will not take any more tablets until I want to have another bleed but 2 weeks after my withdrawal bleed I have another period. I'd love to know why? Anyone?

Hello, Sam! How are you?
PCOS/PCOD does not always cause skipped periods, sometimes it causes them to be irregular, so you may have just had a period, without having to induce it. It would be best to check with your doctor to be sure, but most women with this condition have irregular periods.
Is there anything else I can help with?
