Sandoz Vs Dr.reddy's Omeprazole

I've taken Omeprazole from both Dr. Reddy's and Sandoz. Dr. Reddy's works much better for me. If it's the difference in inactive ingredients used, then, in my experience that makes a big difference.

Inactive ingredients do usually make a significant difference in the overall efficacy of these medications. Certain binders/fillers which may or may not be present in each brand, are detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body.

Due to the sensitive nature of the matter, I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't take any time out to mention this to their patients after giving them a completely different script without any prior consent.

A humorous analogy I came up with is that it's like paying for ice cream and getting frozen yogurt (of course on a much greater scale). The point being that you're not getting what you intended on paying for as a customer and a patient.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with the pharmacist switching manufacturers?

I have been taking Omeprazole 40mg by Mylan. Then was switched to 40mg by Sandoz. These capsules are smaller than the Mylan. They absolutely do NOT work like the ones by Mylan. I have had nothing but acid breakthrough since the switch. I am about to choke to death.

My pharmacist changed my script from Dr. Reddys to Sandoz and the acid reflux is unbelievable and also have a serious case of diarrhea. I am contacting them as soon as I finish this blog. How sad ! I am glad I came across this website.
