Sandoz Adderall Reviews (Top voted first)
UpdatedSandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand.
Has anybody had a bad reaction to the latest generic Adderall by Sandoz 30mg? I picked up my meds last week and not long after taking them I felt really unwell as if I'd been poisoned...completely wiped out, aching heavy body, clumsy, clogged with thick mucus, tired sore eyes and bad mood. I called the pharmacist and mentioned my bad reaction and he said Sandoz changed the meds a couple of months ago and that pills are slightly smaller but the same ingredients. I beg to differ and would like to hear if anybody else has noticed a difference?
Those are the same to manufacturers that made the only IR generic adderall that worked for me, until Sandoz changed their formula this year and Corepharma was sold.
Since Sandoz changed the formula of their immediate release, generic adderall, it no longer works for me. I have narcolepsy and idiopathichypersomnia and need my medication to work. I URGE you to report it to the FDA ASAP.
We can't get these pharmaceutical companies to stop messing with our meds if we keep our heads down and keep the conversation among the general population - we need to make some noise!
For everyone experiencing the new IR Sandoz adderall formula not working, PLEASE report it to the FDA. "Voluntary reports are essential for ensuring the continued safety of FDA-regulated products. One or two well documented case reports may provide an early signal of unexpected problems and lead to additional evaluation. This may result in FDA regulatory actions that improve the safety of the products used in patient care each day."

Re: cw (# 4)
Shady for sure! Unfortunately the Corepharma is not produced anymore (I believe it stopped in May 2017). If anyone is still getting this, it is just the stock that is left over. Teva and Aurobindo are horrible. I'm getting the brand name (also byTeva, don't even get me started on what I think of that con game). For me the brand name is slightly better than the 2 generics I mentioned, but NOT what it used to be when it was made by Shire, plus it costs a fortune. I thought I would see if I could get Mylan or Mallinckrodt, but not now after seeing everyone's comments. There are people that care about our suffering, but none of them work for drug companies.
So tired of this fight, I would just quit if I didn't have to keep a job...but as you all know, without the med, the ability to perform a job is unlikely or impossible depending on your degree of symptoms...
Anything after "brand" existed, sucks in comparison.
Re: Bob (# 99)
The 'new' Sandoz Adderall are atrocious.
They are basically sugar pills now with no relief. They give no focus, energy and concentration.
This is part of the process of having 3rd party now manufacturing them - and their recent sale to Aurobindo.
Stay away from them. Trust me. Worthless.

Helloooo???? I'm not referring to anything close to a "high"! I've taken 20 mg Adderall for over 10 years, does that sound like someone after a "high"?? Never had to increase, because I can tell when it's working to this very day, same as the first time. EXCEPT, Sandoz is not tolerable anymore due to the nasty side effects that started to happen back around nov/dec 2017. It changed. The migraines and intense high blood pressure that follows a dose(same dose as always) indicated there is absolutely something different in the med now. It has a completely different action, but heck yeah I can feel it, but I'm so debilitated by the NEGATIVE side effects I'm forced to go back to bed instead of being the productive human being that it enabled me to be BEFORE they changed it! YOU must be the same troll that works for Sandoz, just changed ya name:|
Re: Low Energy (# 104)
Absolutely noticed a difference. I hadn't taken Sandoz since June 2020 until Pharmacy ran out of Teva and gave it to me on June 1st this year. Not only is it a different shape and color pill, it Absolutely is different. It's the non active fillers/binders in these generics which are different from one to another. Pharmacist tell you they're all the same are complete Liars!! They have 20% ingredients that can vary. For instance, I had my paperwork from my previous Rx. from 2020. The NDC code was 00185-0864-01. That is the pill pictured when you look up E404. This recent pill has different NDC, 0185-2099-01. This indicates a FORMULA change. I took the time to do the research and it's ridiculous!! Big Pharma is making mad $ off of legitimate people who are getting sick due to these fillers and nothing is being done. Let's not even start on the Opioid "crisis".....***
Typical pattern I think with pharmacies. Coincidentally I agree about the teva, those are terrible, and mallinckrodt. Well, just be thankful if you havent had those yet. They might try that crap on you next time. I dont know who mylan is but it seems my pharmacy wants to charge over 100 bucks for this crappy according to you generic. I've never had corepharma. I agree sandoz has been the best. As far as sandoz not making them anymore, well I hope your pharmacist is lying because if that's true im done with this stupid game. In fact, it seems these pharmacies and drug companies are purposely trying to pull one over on all of us A.D.D folks by giving us bunky generics. That makes them as shady as any shady dealer. But what is their motive? That's what matters. Maybe they dont want anyone starting the real meds because it's too much job security and a hassle to stay on the meds for life. To be honest I wish I never started on it because at least before this, I may have had average grades but I was perfectly fine with that and secure in myself and my musical talents. And I love naps. There is nothing wrong with taking naps.

We are our own advocate when it comes to our health. We know what our "norm" is. We have to push for answers on our own. Whatever it takes.
Re: GodFirst (# 94)
Lololol. Right. Don't know why you would turn a complaint about a drug not working as it once did into a political statement?? Must be the Sandoz Adderall eating your brain tissue. I don't wish to discuss politics when all I'm concerned about is getting a medicine that actually works without making me deathly ill.(aka Sandoz). I have no idea why you would first try to tell me I'm looking for "euphoria" when I've taken the same dose over 10 years without issue until the formula was obviously changed, AND then, you want a to attack my political beliefs having no idea who I am or what I believe! So, Godfirst, based on your ability to "get it all wrong" I won't be trusting your opinion on any matter, especially the quality and effectiveness of a medication. Plus, why do you feel the need to attack people's experiences? That also makes you less credible.
Re: Di (# 1)
I have tried every generic, and although Teva sometimes inconsistent, please believe me that it is better than the alternatives.
Re: Low Energy (# 104)
Yes! I take 20mg IR and it is completely different. I'm having horrible migraines and feel nauseated all day. I feel like I'm taking medication to literally become physically sick because this is doing nothing to treat my ADD symptoms!
Re: Low Energy (# 104)
I actually found this website in my hunt for someone else who thinks Sandoz changed their recipe somewhere around the beginning of this year (2022). I've been taking generic Adderall since February 2020.
I started out talking 10mg Sandoz brand amphetamine salts IR 2x's a day. It helped but not quite enough so my Dr raised my dosage to 15mg twice daily. My pharmacy doesn't carry 15's in Sandoz so gave me Lannet brand which hit me like a truck. Took me 3 days in physical and mental hell to figure out it was the pills. They swapped those devil pills out for my 10mg Sandoz which i take 1.5 of each dose now. For the past 9 months or so i was going along ok getting about as much benefit as expected without many side effects. But since February of this year I've noticed a major difference. I'm not getting the medicinal effects i was previously getting, my memory has gotten incredibly worse and most recently I keep developing tics. The pills look the same as far as color and shape. But I swear something is very very different about them. I'm not sure what to do? After the absolutely TERRIBLE experience I had with the Lannet ones I'm afraid to try a different brand, but this isn't working.
I was going to ask my Dr if he could try to prescribe me the name brand ones but from what I've read it seems there is no name brand one anymore which I don't understand at all. Why would no one produce it??
If anyone else has noticed a difference in the Sandoz 10mg IR pills please let me know. I'd really like to verify I'm not imagining it.
Thank you.
I hope you are correct, because I am trying to find a good brand of Adderall. I found core pharma to be good, although it left me a little touchy. However, and we should yell it from the mountain tops, Aurobindo is not adderall...I really don't know why the company bothers...I guess the costs provide CVS with a better profit margin...untill cvs looses their clientele. I am surprised about core pharma's decision to stop investing the the manufacture of their product. And, from what I gleam, the true Brand Adderall is Barr .. and no one finds it to be effective.
My ability to produce work quality was amazingly improved with the use of a good make adderall. Needless to say, I am now sitting in this bed, trying to find a solution. What the heck? Does FDA not want us to be able to participate in this economy?
Re: Em (# 8)
Which CVS in Indiana? I will fly there if I have to because sandoz is the only one that works for me. Everything else makes me feel awful. I appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance
Fortunately after the buyout of Barr by Teva, I discovered Eon/Sandoz. It wasn't like the original Shire/Barr, but it was as close as I could find. I've been humming along for about 4 years now with only an occasional glitch. That is until Dec 2017 up to now. I don't know what has changed but Sandoz feels almost as crappy as Teva. It's brutal. I've felt very little therapeutic value, mainly because it's been making me so sick and dysfunctional since then. I've been having blurred vision, palpitations, migraine headaches, weight gain, muscle pain, teeth pain, etc. I experienced this once after Teva took over Barr, but before I realized the formula was not at all the same. It turns out, it was when they had a recall on the medicine due to triple the amount of active ingredient in the pill. It sounds like that would be great, right? WRONG, it was close to lethal. I had no idea there was a recall, but could tell something wasn't right. Ended up in the hospital with hypertensive crisis. Scary stuff. I never took more than I was prescribed, usually less. I'm feeling the same on Sandoz as I did on the recalled product. But it's been since Dec 2017 that I have felt this way. I'm like everyone else, tired of this roller coaster and jumping through hoops to find a good therapeutic medication that has more benefits than side effects, but I have no idea where to even start now! Ugh!
Re: GodFirst (# 98)
Which is why I have never gone up on my dosage! "GodFirst"(I LOL every time I read your name), stop trying to make my complaint about this medicine into something that is MY fault. I never wanted to join the "controlled substance game" at all. My doctor talked me into trying medication to begin with. I kept myself at a minimum. The doctor even doubled my dosage, but I continue to take the same dose but the script lasts twice as long now, lol. Does that sound like an addict?? The reason I don't go up, is I absolutely don't NEED to go up. When the medicine is manufactured as it had been being manufactured before Dec 2017, it worked just as well as the first time I took it. But when it changed, it began giving major side effects that I wasn't about to up the dose and make those side effects even more lethal than they were at 20mg. Quit trying to make my complaint about the medication giving bad side effects into a complaint about the medicine not working! The problem is the medicine gives side effects that make the medicine unbearable! Big difference there. Just wish Sandoz would go back to the way they used to make it. Very effective, and no side effects. Now it's trash, complete garbage.
Hi, I am trying to find the Sandoz manufactured generic Adderall IR tablets in the Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, WA areas, but whichever pharmacy I asked said that they always carry either Teva or Aurobindo. They both suck.
I take Sandoz generic 20mg tablets. They are absolutely horrible! You take one and are passed out asleep on the couch within an hour. They are like taking a sleeping pill. If we want it to change, we are going to have to make ourselves heard! Everybody go to the following website and flood them with COMPLAINT forms!! Also, go on their social media websites and leave negative comments about how they rip their customers off with counterfeit meds! If we don't, nothing's ever going to change!

Re: shimmer (# 37)
I agree, but it's only been a recent change to ineffective for me. Prior to about Dec in the area I live, Sandoz had been fine. But since then, there has been this horrible transition to what they are now. Just trash. I complained to the FDA twice, never been contacted about my complaint. Contacted Sandoz lab, and they took my complaint/concern and asked if I had any left they could test, and I told them absolutely! I have a whole bottle of 60 left because after three days, I just saw no point in taking them. The bad side effects significantly outweighed any therapeutic benefit. Worse yet, I feel whatever is in the pills now is actually dangerous to good health, they're toxic.
