Safety Of Using Pantop D During Pregnancy

My wife is 5 months pregnant and she is taking Pantop D for acidity before meal from last 2-3 months. Is it safe for the baby and her during pregnancy?

Has her doctor advised her to take it?

The Domperidone in it has been known to cause cardiac arrhythmias, in some women that take it, which could be fatal to both mother and baby, but it is a very rare side effect, according to FDA warnings and she should follow whatever instructions her doctor has advised.
