Is it safe to take an oxycodone for back pain while on ceftin?

They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves. They are often prescribed together to treat the pain that some infections can cause, since it can take a few days for the antibiotic to start working.

The FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

The typical side effects for this antibiotic may possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

I have the same problem with ceftin. I wish so much for some vicodin to ease my stomach pain, even after I stopped taking it for 2 weeks.
