I became pregnant in October right after being prescribed Chanix. I never did take it because my doctor said GUARENTEED it will cause birth defects. Of course this is 2010 and the original post was 2008 so I hope you and your baby are well/

I would suggest consulting with your doctor, they will weigh the pros and cons of your using it while pregnant and let you know what they think you should do.
