Safe Drugs For Osteoporosis

Updated May 25, 2015

Are there any safe drugs for osteoporosis? Her physician says that there is an injectable drug without the side effects of brittle bones, but I am finding gastro-intestinal side effects for some of those. GI problems are my Mom's primary issue, so I don't want to make that worse. Any safe ones out there?

My Mom did fabulously on Calcitonin Salmon but it did not work for me. I have more of my father's genes than my mother's
