Twice now Kaiser Hospital has mixed up my meds. My usual dosage is up to 3-10mg, 3 times a day of the orange 10mg tablet INSTANT RELEASE
So both times the usual instructions were on the bottle 3-3x a day....but the meds were 10mg SLOW RELEASE spansules.
I caught it both times because they look so different. It's a pain for me to go back and exchange them. What's the correct dosage?

There is no definitive correct dose, it depends on the person, what their doctor prescribes and what works for that individual.

The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant and warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia.

The hospital needs to start paying attention to the specifics of your prescription.

Is there anything else I can help with?
