This medicine is a mineral applied to teeth to prevent decay.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. USE THIS MEDICINE after brushing and flossing your teeth and just before bedtime. Brush your teeth with a small amount of this medicine. Swish it around in your mouth for about 1 minute and then spit it out. DO NOT SWALLOW IT. Do not eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after using this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it regularly, there is no cause for concern. Skip the missed dosed and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor.
CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR DENTIST if you notice changes in the color or appearance of your teeth. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, and loss of consciousness.
