Side Effects Continue After Stopping Drug
UpdatedI was on carbergoline 0.25 twice weekly for one month and had terrible hot flashes . Now off of it for almost 2 weeks and the flashes continue. any one know why?

Generally, a month is the length of time it takes for a medication to reach its full efficacy level in the body and, once that happens, it can take several weeks for it to fully process out and for any side effects to completely wear off.

However, you might want to check with your doctor, just to be sure it's a side effect of the medication and not caused by something else.
