I DISCOVERED LAST NIGHT I HAVE SHINGLES OUTBREAK JUST ON THE RIGHT SIDE FROM NEXT TO MY NAVEL UP UNTIL MY MIDDLE BUT LUCKILY NOT STILL NOT AROUND MY BACK WILL PURBAC 500MG HELP? ACNE STARTED COMING ON AND I AM 54 NOW WILL IT HELP TO CLEAR IT UP?

No, an antibiotic will not help with Shingles, since that is caused by a virus.

What have you tried for the acne? If it's due to hormonal fluctuations, which are very common at your age, an antibiotic likely won't help it, either.

What has your doctor advised you to use?
