Hello,
I have been using Seraquil for almost 4 years. In the last 2 years I have gained 35lbs.
I changed nothing, still did an hour of cardio everyday like I have been for the last 30 years.
I did reduce my calories by about 1/3, BUT still gained the weight.
I stopped taking the drug for 2 months and did not like the way I felt mentally. I did not suffer much in the way of withdrawals but everything bothered me.
I take 100mg at bedtime.
So I went back on Seraquil.
During the 2 months I lost about 5 lbs.
When I went back on I was determined to lose weight even tho I was taking the drug.
I really cut my calories.
And low and behold I started to lose weight.
Down about 12 lbs now and I will get back to the 180 lbs weight I have had for 35 years.
My whole point in writing this is to give hope to those who have gained weight while taking Seraquil.
Thats just about everyone. Seems like its always about 30 - 40 lbs gained for those taking it.
Seraquil does help a lot of people but the weight gain is terrible.
So, guys and gals, you have to be determined to lose the weight, cut down on calories and do some kind of cardio everyday,even just walking.
There is hope, just be determined!!!!
