I was doing a lot of searching around myself; Not too much out there on Saboxone. Then I stumbled across a document which made mention of the name along with other related chemicals:

Saboxone (pending FDA approval)
- Naloxone (antagonist)
- Buprenorphine (partial agonist)
- Tx of heroin addiction (more efficacious than methadone???)

These drugs are for the treatment of opiate related addictions such as Hydrocodone, Herion, etc.

Found an article on Buprenorphine at www.drugabuse.gov/NIDA_Notes/NNVol10N1/Bupren.html.

son comming off saboxone three days . cant sleep and is now having some halucinations.

NNo way .. I have been on suboxone for over six year and do not let him wing off cd turkey. Get him about five and gradually taper him off.
