Problems are:- 1) tingling in hands while on cycling and stiffness in my foot, chronic spondylosis in shoulder and spine. 2) Slight increase in B.P. 3) Sleeplessness.

Medicine taken:- 1) S-nerve (pregabalin & mecobalamin) 2) Concor AM 5 3) Revotril 0.5mg

My first two problems are now controlled but I can not sleep without taking Revotril. Kindly guide me as to whether it would be dangerous by habituating this medicine.

Hi Ranjit,

Based on your description, it's difficult to say whether or not your line up of medications is really safe to take habitually for the long run. However, if you find that they are actually helping your condition and not causing any bothersome side effects... then in my opinion, you should weight out the pros and cons using your own best judgement and the advice of your doctor.

Every medication has the possibility of dangerous side effects, including various OTC options. So one can't say that the risk is not there even if you plan to take them for a shorter period of time. It's all about trial and error when it comes to trying something new.

You can learn more about each of these medications on the pages for:
Pregabalin Details
Methylcobalamin Details
Bisoprolol (Concor) Details
Clonazepam (Revotril) Details

I hope this info helps!
