Rush Development After Use

I went to a doctor complaining about a never ending flu so he recommended Betamox and other medicines after 2 days i developed a rash on my genitals. What happened? I'm just worried, b4 i had a sore urinal problem?

First and foremost, antibiotics will not work for colds or flu's unless they happened to have originated from an existing infection; so hopefully your doctor made the right call in prescribing an antibiotic for flu symptoms. However, as far as side effects go, severe skin rashes are listed as a serious side effect of Betamox (amoxicillin) that should be reported to your doctor immediately.

It may also be a sign that you need to use a different type of antibiotic or medication for the flu you described. So that may be something to discuss with your doctor.

Do you recall the names of any other medications he recommend you? It's also possible that these could've attributed to the rash, if they have similar side effects.
