Rumoquin Nf Drug Interactions

Is this drug safe to take with gabapentin 600 mg? Also what dosage? How often can it be taken?

Rumoquin NF contains a combination of diclofenac, methocarbamol and dexamethasone. Because these are all prescribed drugs, the doctor who is prescribing them to you should be aware of anything else you are taking alongside them. If your doctor didn't give you any dosing advice, I would recommend calling him/her asap.

Ironically, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), diclofenac and dexamethasone have a "high interaction potential"; that is to say it is NOT recommended you take them together, which I find odd since they are both included in the same medication. The medical center goes on to note that "taking an NSAID together with oral corticosteroids may result in an increased risk of a stomach ulcer or bleeding."

Fortunately there are no interactions listed between Gabapentin and the ingredients found in Rumoquin NF. However if Rumoquin NF is contraindicated with itself, my question to the prescribing doctor is 'how does one mitigate that risk factor?'

Umm.edu lists a medium interaction potential between Metoprolol and Diclofenac; stating that the "use of a beta-adrenergic blocker together with a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) may cause blood pressure problems."
