What does a roxycodone 15 mg immediate release look like.. I was prescribed this today. I had hip surgery and was sent home with a little green pill with a m in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. Is this the same thing? My bottle says oxycodone 15 mg.. But it doesn't specify immediate release.

There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that dosage, thus, the 15mg tablets that you've received are regular release tablets.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
Many doctors do write them as being immediate release, because they are not time released like Oxycontin.
