Roxy Pill K 9 - 30mg (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I just got my roxy's filled. The pills are new and i can not find any info from users about the effectiveness, side effects and oppinions on them as compared to the m's and 215 I HAVE FOUND THEY ARE MAKING ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. PLEASE PLEASE CHIME IN.

I have been taking oxycodone for almost 10 years. I only take them orally. My favorite are as follows: Vs, K9s, A215s, 224s, then Ms. The only time I've ever gotten sick was when i first started taking them. Yes some have more effect than others. I have to at least take 3 Ms to feel anything. I was 19 when i first had a 5 milligram and i found out i had the worst case of endometriosis my doctor has ever seen. He told me i would have to continue to get surgery for the rest of my life. Since then i have not gotten another surgery. I'm not sure if i helped in anyway. I'm just here reading and looking!!

I am also in PA and yes they are a good brand they are next to the best brand as far as the effectiveness it gives would u be able to help with a question for me!

Sorry for your situation. Sorry for the judgmental a**hats too! Ppl forget to do unto others as you would have done. It doesn't matter if you take, have taken and or had extra left in a month.... A chronic pain opioid patient is going to be judged. I'm replying for a few reasons. 1) Medicaid pays for a short detox in most states. You should look into it. If you have a good rapport with your doc be straight and tell them. They can make it so scripts are fill-able early! 2) get off the fentanyl patch! These are killing far more than they telling about. 3) lock your meds up in a safe/lock box etc.! Don't tell ppl you're on them. Because as you are not addicted.... Your body is. Your body has to have them. Few years back Drs. Handed them out like candy needlessly for patients more for the extras they got for each script wrote! Big pharma and Drs. Got way too many people's bodies addicted to opioids! Then gov. steps in and the docs tighten up with scripts. So now, we got many ppl needing meds and not getting it, turning to illicit drugs, or paying gold for one pill on the streets... Not to FEEL HIGH but to give their bodies the meds to stop withdrawal sickness!! It's real, s***ty and deadly.... Dr's., Big pharma and govt... Made it so bodies had to have it.... Theft, robbery, fraud.... Becomes the addiction to feed the necessary medicinal amount to your body!! It sucks as families get torn to pieces.... Ppl go without.... Ect. Your story is a testimony....filled with blessings. Be well.

The Opana's do suck and are no where near as good as the OC's and if you go to OP Oxicontin you will see there is a lot of complaints on this new Opana tablet. I've been on 480mgs of oxicontin a day and started getting the OP's and had terrible side affects:vomiting, stomach pains, and withdrawal symptoms. What caused those I have no idea? Now my Dr. is giving me Roxi's and they are a life saver.

I have to beg your pardon because I neither shoot or snort oxycotin and the new ones they have seem to be about as half effetive as the old ones and as for the 40 mg opana hell I dont think they are even half as effective as the old ones and the take about 3 hours to start working and to think they will last 12 hrs is bs cause they only last about 5 hours and it is gone un like the old ones that worked in about 45 mins and lasted about 8 or better hours

You are a flipping baby fruit cake! You were a very young when you broke your back and got much better results because you were so young. Lets skip the wisdom teeth and continue with your back. Let me break it in two again when you are 50 and we will see how well you heal and how hard and loud you cry!

I will be there to remind you after I break that back of yours; you may never touch an opiate again ... ever ... and you know why! Because you already know you have an addictive personality after getting addicted to the weakest opiate available after having a couple of teeth removed!
You know ... I got a good kick out of your remark because it shows just how much you know! Oh wait .. wait .. not, it shows just how little you know or better yet it shows you know nothing!

When we break that back of yours; I have a big bottle of tylenol for you and we will see how long it takes to wreck your liver and then how much longer it takes to finally kill you ... you fool!

Not everybody takes them for addiction. Some actually need them and some Roxy's are better than others. So u just can't admit some need em some abuse them, just like alcohol and other drugs.

Wow, I just read your post and became very offended. I have a failed C4-C6 fusion with lose hardware, severe greater occipital neuralgia with chronic migraines at least 20 days a month, two spinal cord tumors at T4-T5 and two more at T9-T10...not malignant, but they aren't begnign in the sense that they cause daily mid back pain....I also have herniations at L3-L4, L4-L5 & L5-S1. To top all that off, I have a congenital birth defect in my kidneys- bilaterally, which is considered a disease called Medullary Sponge Kidney (MSK). I pass kidney stones every single day and have had over 25 surgeries to my kidneys/ureters alone. I am in excruciating pain every single day and I do not have cancer or aids, nor am I dying right now, thank the Lord. But what aggitated me about your post is the fact that not everyone abuses medications. I have been on every pain medication under the sun. At one point I was on 4 narcotic pain meds at once, two were ER, and two were the highest doses or IR that these particular medications were (I am deliberately choosing to not name them all here). Anyway, as that round of surgeries and spinal injections wound down, I got off one of the ER meds and over six months tapered down and eventually off, one of the IR meds. Believe me, it's not fun having to take medications just to treat symptoms and have some what of a life outside of not being able to work....because there is no cure for my kidney disease and because the surgeons can't operate on my thoracic tumors given they are on the anterior side. I decided to get off the ER medications completely and ONLY have instant release medications to instantly help me if my pain is really out of control at any moment. So, I am only on ONE medication, which, you probably can tell is the one we are speaking of in this post. It had been a blessing for me. I take it how it is prescribed....I swallow it, sometimes with sometimes without food. My pain receptors have adjusted back down to not having all that pain med in my system anymore and I am actually able to find relief with medications after surgeries now! But I absolutely resent people calling my medication "legal H"....it is NOT. Even if it's in the opiate family and is a synthetic drug manufactured to work on the same receptors. There are a great many people in this world who live in pain every single day and who take their medications the way they are supposed to, under a doctors care. At that point, and for me, I consider it to be opiate therapy....it is a therapy. So please, just because you had a problem with the vicodin you were prescribed, and yes, many other people put there have opiate addictions (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH DEPENDENCE- look up the difference!!).....anyway, please don't judge patients who take pain medication or assume that there are only a few things that cause severe pain. There is minor pain, moderate pain, severe pain, and then there is end of life pain. All should be taken seriously. Also, and one more thing for your own educational experience...so toy don't make an assumption or say the wrong thing to the wrong person (because they will ask where YOU went to medical school)...you should visit the chronic pain association website and see some of the disorders, distresses, etc., that are listed there. My kidney disease is, and my heart goes out to anyone who has any illness or is dealing with chronic pain. It is a VERY difficult thing to treat, but thanks to some medications, and of course building a great, long lasting relationship with your physicians and specialists....people like me are able to have good days...sometimes even just good moments, but they are still unfortunately tied in with the many, many bad days. I wish you the best in staying clean, and I hope that my reply to you was not perceives as rude, that was not my intention. Take some time and do some research....instead of being judgemental, you could be empathetic, and an advocate....best of luck to you, and have a very blessed day (apologies for typos, I'm using my cell!)

I just got my prescription filled last night and I was giving the K/9 pill as well.
This is the first time I am taking 30mg's.
Do you think they are the best brand?
Where are you located at?

The A/215 Suck!! I feel nada and had my husband take a half to see what was up. He got an upset stomach but not the usual lala feeling. I like like M's.

I got the K9's for the first time, I have gotten all of the blues.....I am in chronic pain and have been for like 19yrs. Bad auto accident!! Been on pain meds pretty much since then and now I am up to the 30's so my point being is the K9's work just fine for me as do all the other 30's last month my pharmacy had the A215's.....I see no real difference!!!! Just saying I like the K9's works for me!!!

Srcrews with heart meds too, no joke be carful of adding herbs & minerals even juices , when you have a new script make it a habit to ask ur pharmacy if there's anything that interacts with ur new med. Take care

I have felt with terrible pain off and on. I'm so sorry your hurting. Let me say that medication is the WORST thing that has ever come into my life! I became so addicted that my life fell apart and I didn't care about anything but taking them. Also, after 8 months severe depression set it and I didn't care if I bathed or not that day. If it's a terminal disease I can see taking them but if you don't plan on taking them forever STOP NOW. I could totally be speaking out of line, I just want to warn people about this stuff. If you don't have to take them, I urge you not to. Wishing you the best!

U are rite, these people that take pills strictly for recreation are making it hard for people with real pain and medical issues. For instance my doctor will only rite a 10 day supply per visit and I work out of state (union member) so lots of time I have to do without and just be miserable and deal with the pain. So I guess wat im saying is all u drug abusers is get a f***ing life or get help and quit screwing it up for us legitimate patients. And to add one more thing they should be ashamed of their actions but the sad thing is they don't care.

There's no coming back, come on do you believe that nonsense? I've was hooked on vicodin for 2 years, oxy's for 2, graduated to illicit drugs for 8 years. Unbelievable pain, misery, and deterioration of everything I knew and loved. I was an absolute Dope fiend, did unbelievable things to lie, cheat, steal, and manipulate my way to get drugs. Ive been in recovery for 8 years now, and it has been the hardest, luckiest, most fortune years of my life. I was a professional bustier (not proud), Teacher in high school, lover of many things that the drugs would eventually tier apart. Fortunate to be alive and well and I sometimes get online and see these post about how once you get to the needle, all is lost. BIGGEST DRUG DEALER I EVER MET WAS A DOCTOR. In fact you might have heard of my last doctor, Lisa Tseng, was convicted for 4 murders and sentenced to 30 years.

Yea I'd much rather have the flu than to get stuck back in withdrawals. I had back problems so it started with that 12 years of having to deal with all that bs, then started on opiates, finally checked myself into rehab almost exactly a year ago. Opiates ruined my life, been picking up the pieces the past year, and yea it sucks to be in pain, it's a viscous circle. On one hand you can't function with so much pain so you're stuck with the meds, but I can't name a person who's had to go through the pain and the meds without it turning into addiction hell. It just sucks. With all the technology there's gotta be another way for us to live a normal life without having to be stuck with addiction and withdrawals.
