I just got my roxy's filled. The pills are new and i can not find any info from users about the effectiveness, side effects and oppinions on them as compared to the m's and 215 I HAVE FOUND THEY ARE MAKING ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. PLEASE PLEASE CHIME IN.

Just took my first K9 oxycodone amd I don't really feel any difference between the pills. I think ppl just don't like change and when it comes to ur preferences u would prefer to keep it all the same but all and all its all the same med and really shouldn't have diff side affects for one or the other .

II have had multiple surgeries as a result of being severely wounded while I was an officer in the army. I have been on every type of pain medication including Vicodin, dilaudid, opana, morphine, Demerol, and fentanyl but for my pain I find oxycodone formulations to be the most effective. I am currently prescribed 100mcg fentanyl patches, 80mg oxycontin, and 30mg oxycodone instant release. There are differences in the generic versions of the 30's and in my opinion the most effective are the a215's and the m30's. The k9's aren't the best but they aren't the worst. If I'm not mistaken there can be a 10% difference in the formula for generics which means that some may contain 33mgs of oxycodone while others may have 27mgs.Without these medications I would not be able to function. Anyone who says exercise and Tylenol are the answer clearly has not experienced the level of pain I feel on a daily basis even with all the pain medication I take. If you can not get the relief from pain you need from the k9's and are more confident in another brand you can go to a mom & pop pharmacy and ask them to order the brand you want (assuming you are in a pain management program and will be for the foreseeable future.) Even if it costs a little more money, it is a small price to pay to ensure that you don't experience unnecessary pain. In my opinion the k9's are good for breakthrough pain although they may not be as euphoric as some of the other brands.

I have felt with terrible pain off and on. I'm so sorry your hurting. Let me say that medication is the WORST thing that has ever come into my life! I became so addicted that my life fell apart and I didn't care about anything but taking them. Also, after 8 months severe depression set it and I didn't care if I bathed or not that day. If it's a terminal disease I can see taking them but if you don't plan on taking them forever STOP NOW. I could totally be speaking out of line, I just want to warn people about this stuff. If you don't have to take them, I urge you not to. Wishing you the best!

I just got mine filled a few day ago and got the K9 pill. They do not work for my pain like the other 30's I've gotten in the past and they are making me sick my stomach too!!! Now I'm stuck with them this month!!

You're probably a different person after 3 years, and know now that Hydrocodone cut with Acetominiphen can't be compared to a Blue. Oxies are similar to H. Your lack of knowledge ruined any advice/momentum you might have been able to provide. I get frustrated with needle junkies. That's my problem. You compare yourself, your experiences, your weaknesses or strengths, to another person('s). That's your problem, because it's Illogical, unhelpful. If a person wants to die, they will. I've found unconditional love works a lot of wonders. By that I mean, hush up.

I have found no problem with them! The only problem I have is finding a pharmacy that can fill my script! Out for 4 days ... god have mercy on me!

Wow, your 100% incorrect on your info. They DO NOT HAVE GEL BEADS IN THEM. THERE IS NO,DIFFERENT INGREDIENT THAT MAKES,YOU,THROW UP.,YOU ARE JUST A WEENIE WHO CANT HANDLE IT. AND NOBODY IS,GONNA,ACCIDENTALLY OVERDOSE. CAUSE THEY DONT FEEL IT AND TAKE TO MANY. AS IF PEOPLE ARE GONNA SAY O I,DON'T FEEL IT ILL TAKE ANOTHER AND THEN ANOTHER. UNLESS THEY HAVE A HI TOLERANCE.

I know exactly what you are saying. I worked as a paramedic for many yrs and did suffer a back injury and was out of work for 6 wks but I went to physical therapy and was fine without pain meds. Now I'm no longer able to work and disabled and a yr ago I was diagnosed with cirrohsis, celiac disease, and crohns disease I'm on a transplant waiting list don't know how long I've got so instead of staying doped up on pain meds I'm living everyday to the fullest and try to enjoy it and everybody I'm sure is thinking oh she's got cirrohsis and prob a drunk but your wrong I've never drank in my life I was about 30- 40 lbs overweight and was told I had a fatty liver which caused the cirrohsis so until I actually need something to ease my pain ill survive. Wake up people.

I have heard the same thing also headaches I read an article that they had been shut down the pharmaceutical place numerous times for not putting in the a mount of opiate that was supposed to be in there and using different buffers and the plant where there made wasn't up to the standards

Amen. Taken as prescribed the side effects are going to be the same. They have the exact same ingredients so its the imprint on the pill itself that's making people "think" they have a different effect.Addiction is a sad affliction and it can affect anyone even people who are taking pain meds for legitimate pain. But if it makes you feel better mentally , talk to your Dr and tell him that the imprint on your pain med pill bothers you and see where you get with that......

As for the k 9 oxycodone pills...they nauseate me big time.i am a chronic pain patient and have been on oxycodone since 2005. At first i was on oxycontin 40 mg 2x daily and 30 mg oxycodone tablets every 6 hrs prn breakthrough pain.im telling you SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT.please dont think im being argumentative.i realize the active ingredients (per dea laws) must be the same compound as in the name brand.its the filler that i believe to be the culprit,or the binders maybe even the coloring agent.im no chemist and certainly not a doctor but these k9 oxycodone hcl pills will never be in my system again.it could be a screwed up pharmaceutical company.it happens.the fubgal meningitis cases stemming from the compounding company here in america killed people and ruined other peoples quality of life.these companies play loose and free with the rules and regs,because MANY HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ARE BEING MADE BY BIG PHARMACY CORPORATIONS.crap.now im stuck on conspiracy.best of lifes blessings to one and all.

You are a flipping baby fruit cake! You were a very young when you broke your back and got much better results because you were so young. Lets skip the wisdom teeth and continue with your back. Let me break it in two again when you are 50 and we will see how well you heal and how hard and loud you cry!

I will be there to remind you after I break that back of yours; you may never touch an opiate again ... ever ... and you know why! Because you already know you have an addictive personality after getting addicted to the weakest opiate available after having a couple of teeth removed!
You know ... I got a good kick out of your remark because it shows just how much you know! Oh wait .. wait .. not, it shows just how little you know or better yet it shows you know nothing!

When we break that back of yours; I have a big bottle of tylenol for you and we will see how long it takes to wreck your liver and then how much longer it takes to finally kill you ... you fool!

Ok i was taking the A215 and someone gave me the Mallies, i put them in this weeks pill holder so that by the time i get to doc i am taking the brand from pharmacy and dont run out. I went to pick out the mallies for iv jse and noticed that mine were all K 9. Pharmacy has switched brands. I dont feel anything from iv use BUT i dont feel inclined to do another one quite so soon. Taken orally, they do seem to last longer. So if you are trying to feel high from K 9 forget it. But for pain they work as well as other brands and for longer amount of time. I am glad pharmacy switched since now it appears that my prescription will last the entire month! And thats always a good thing.
