Roxicodone 30 Ir Issues

I am on roxicodone 30 mg two three times a day and I pans 40 twice a day. I was wondering what other immediate release would be equivelant to what I'm already on. The DEA is making doctors in my state only perscribe 4 immediate release per day so I was trying to figure out if there was another drug equal to what I'm on yet only 4 times a day? Can anyone help please??

Roxicodone is not immediate release, it's a regular release formulation.

What other medication were you asking about? It seems autocorrect got the best of you. Did you mean Opana?

Yes I'm on roxicodone 30 mg. 2 pills 3 times a day. Then opana 40 mg for extended release. The issue I have is that what I'm on works so well but my state is making doctors only perscribe 4 pills a day for break through pain. I'm trying to find another option that would be the same as what I'm on now yet only 4 times a day. So the opana is fine. I just need to find something for break through pain that's 4 times a day that works just like the 6 30 mg roxicodone pills I'm used to. I have had several brain surgeries. Sever headaches daily. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I see a pain management doctor.
