Rowatinex Dose

ROWA Tenix should be taken for 1 month.
the dosage is clearly mentioned on the PACK
2 pills 3 times a day or in case of acute, 3 pills 3 time a day.
After a month you need to scan to see the effect on the stones.
I have found that Drinking Warm Barley Water with Lemon 6 times a day is also very helpful.

Thank you very much for posting this dosage information for Rowatinex. I'll provide some additional info for this medication below:

According to the Rowatinex information packet, "Rowatinex contains essential oils that help to dissolve or break down and remove (disintegrating and eliminating) kidney and urinary tract stones, Rowatinex Relieves muscle spasm thus reducing the pain of kidney and urinary colics. It is also used to relieve the effects associated with mild urinary tract infections.
Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not take Rowatinex.

Dosage:
-Rowatinex should be taken on an empty stomach an hour before meals.
-The usual dose for adults is one capsule 3-4 times daily 1/2 hr before meals.

Taking too much Rowatinex might cause:
-stomach upset
-if you have taken more capsules than you should, talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately

Storage:

-Keep the capsules in a dry place at 25 degrees celsius or below.-
-Do not use after the expiration date.
-Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of
medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Side effects:

A small number of patients have noted side effects such as:
-slight and temporary stomach upset and being sick.

Identification of Rowatinex capsule:

-Rowatinex Capsule are yellow, ball shaped (spherical), soft gelatine capsules. Each pack contains 50 or 500 capsules.

Each capsule contains:

pinene (31.0 mg)
camphene (15.0 mg)
cineol (3.0 mg)
fenchone (4.0 mg)
borneol (10.0 mg)
anethol (4.0 mg)

The other ingredients are olive oil (33 mg per capsule)

The capsules do contain gelatine, so if you are allergic to gelatin- it would not be safe to take this medication."
