These pills are fairly big and are not coated. They are white, round, and one side has an X and the other side has a 70. Could this be alprazolam 0.5 mg extended release?? I have never seen alprazolam that looks like this & am having a hard time trying to find a picture or any article to confirm that is what they are. Your speedy responses are greatly appreciated. Yes, these tablets are manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list them as containing 0.5mgs of Alprazolam in an extended release formulation, so they are a generic for Xanax.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
