I was prescribed medication for pain and the prescription didnt seem to have the name my doctor told me previously so i looked it up on the internet and couldnt find a pain reliever that matched the markings on the pill: which were 4853 above the hetch mark and a cursive V below the hetch mark

The round blue pill in description marked V 4853 is Oxybutynin chloride (5 mg). This isn't a pain pill however...
Oxybutynin is an anticholinergic medication used to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties, including frequent urination and inability to control urination (urge incontinence), by decreasing muscle spasms of the bladder.
