I found this pill under my dresser. I’m told it’s a contraceptive, but my current birth control pills are not blue. I’ve never taken Tri-previfem before, which is what it’s identified as, but I have taken Ortho-tricyclen and TriNessa which are alternate brand names I’m told. Would the inscription be the same across the different brand names?

Confirming that the pill you found corresponds with the markings found on Tri-Previfem (NDC 0603-7663).
While it does contain a similar active ingredient profile as Ortho-Tricyclen (NDC 50458-191) and TriNessa (NDC 21695-407), the inscription should differ across brand names. The general rule is that each drug is required to have a unique imprint across manufacturers and doses. So even if it was the same manufacturer and drug but a different dose, the imprint should still be unique.
