Based on your description, I located the round yellow pill to be a 5 mg Methylphenidate HCL tablet.

Methylphenidate is the most commonly prescribed psychostimulant and is indicated in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and narcolepsy.
