The tablet marked TEC 4 contains 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a Canadian tablet.
Some narcotics do have unusual effects on people, especially in that high of a dosage, when you haven't taken them, before.
Other side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, euphoria and constipation.

I took Codeine once, many years ago and quickly learned to stay away from it. For me, it caused extreme nervousness and shakiness, it also accelerated my heart/pulse rate.
