Round Pink Morphine Pill Picture

or what kinda of morphine pill has * pms * on one side, & a straight line across on the otherside...i'm just curious! and it (looked pink inside) like the whole tablet is just one colour....

Hi Destiny,

Based on my research, there are different varieties of the pill you have. I came across a round yellow pill with pms on one side with a score on the other- in addition to the number 4 (which most likely stands for the milligram). I don't know what the strength of your pill is, however I do believe it is Morphine Sulfate SR, which is Morphine Sulfate sustained release. Sustained release is a mechanism used in pill tablets or capsules to dissolve a drug over time in order to be released into the bloodstream at a slower rate while having the advantage of being taken at less frequent intervals than immediate-release (IR) formulations of the same drug.

Some side effects of this medication include (but are not limited to):

weight loss, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling), headache, dizziness, spinning sensation, memory problems, or sleep problems (insomnia), strange dreams.
