What is this pill white round pill with e on one side and 40 on the other side

Hi Nicole,

Is there any chance that your pill might have an off-white color with more of a yellowish tint to it? Only asking because the pill that fits your description the most is regarded as being yellow and not white.

A round yellow pill with an E on one side and a 40 on the other is identified as Opana ER 40 mg; which is used in the treatment of pain.

Manufacturer: Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc.

The only other match that came close was a white round pill that had E and 40 on the same side of the pill and blank on the other. This one was identified as Midodrine HCl 2.5 mg, used primarily to treat hypotension.

Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Do either of these medications sound like they could be a match?

Is it possibly a pale yellow?

The only listing I have for one with an E on one side and a 40 on the other is pale yellow and is a 40mg Opana ER tablet, which is a narcotic analgesic.
