Rosuvas F 10 Mg

I am having HOCM. My doctor recommended ROSUVAS F 10 MG (1 TAB DAILY) and calaptyn 40 mg (twice a day) based on the medical report. I do not have any other problem other than the above. Please let me have your advice.

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is a condition where your heart muscle becomes thicker and this makes it much harder for the heart to pump the blood through your body properly.

In such cases, it is normal for a doctor to give medications to help prevent worsening of the heart, because your risk is much greater of suffering from future heart problems, such as heart attacks.


Rosuvas contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, this is used to help lower cholesterol levels in the blood and keep them lower. Your risk of cholesterol build-up is much greater and can be a real danger.

It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, joint/muscle aches and headaches.

Calaptin contains the active ingredient Verapamil, it is a calcium channel blocker, it is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, because it helps the heart work better, with less strain.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, low blood pressure and stomach pain.
