Ritalin Not Increasing Concentration Anymore...

Hello,

I have ADHD and I've been taking Ritalin for a year now. It worked fine for more than nine months, increasing my memory dramatically, making me remember almost every word from the books I've read up until now. It was surprising how things just leaped up into my mind without any effort whatsoever. While doing something, I was always sure my memory would help me continue the best way possible, because it seemed as if I had knowledge about everything due to the fact that everything I knew was so easily recollected.

However, during the last two months, I see no memory improvement when I take them. Yes, they increase my motivation still, but not my concentration or my memory anymore. Also, the side-effects have become much worse, as well as the comedowns.

Is there something I can do?

It is possible that your body has become tolerant to your current dose and you may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a different medication.

Have you informed your healthcare provider?
