can rifagut cure frequent bowels? i have been having frequent bowels four to five times in the morning every day. they are not loose.

Girija, since it is an antibiotic, as I stated in my other post, it is doubtful that it will help with that, because it is only going to help with conditions that are caused by some type of infection.

What you really need to do is discover what's causing your problem. Have you changed your eating habits, recently?

I AM 58YRS OLD[FEMALE]I HAVE BEEN HAVING FREQUENT MOTIONS IN THE MORNING.THE CONSISTANCY IS O.K. I have beensuffering from frequent diahrea,motion some times loose and some times pasty,occasional mucous, gas, belching,and mild continuous pain.I have undergone colonoscopy ,endoscopy and ultrasound tests and report is normal.My doctor gives me antibiotic( rifagut),colospa retard ,velgut (probiotic ).So long as i take medicines, I am ok. As soon as the course is over , i start getting pain and diareah. Can you suggest any remedy. I am 69 yrs old.

Hello Madam,

What I feel you have a poor digestive system. To make problem and solution simple....I would like to recommend you the below, Whig should help.

1. Do not eat outside food, fried foods or uncooked food.

2. Try removing fibre from your diet, as it feels like your good bacterias in gut are overcome by bad ones....and fibre helps the one in control to grow faster.

3. Include fermented foods slowly in your diet. Eg. Curd, fermented milk etc which are active source of good bacteria.

4. Start taking regular suppliments for probiotic after your food.

5. Eat small diets after every two to three hours. Do not overeat and full your stomach.

6. Most important one, include breathing exercises and practice yoga regulary, half an hour in morning and half and hour in evening.

Practice this without fail for atleast 2-3
Months...than start adding solids in your diet...ur digestion will be better and you ll be cured permanently.

I am suffering from heartburn, poor digestion, and a stomach infection at the same time. Dr gave pre and probiotic caps but norelife then rifagut and adiza with BP tabs for week, got relife but again problems. This is for last 4 years after an operation of gallbladder stones. What should I do? Get rilife?

I feel you have IBS.
Try to reduce or treat stress levels. Do walking and abdominal exercise.
Drink lots liquid use boiled water.

I have done a hydrogen breathing test...doctor said i have ibs...so the doctor gave me rifagut & mebiz for 1 month..after 15 days, still i have a problem...I have bowel movements 3 to 4 times a day, sometimes it contains mucus, sometimes it's loose, and sometimes solid. My office is far from my home...so frequently i have to use a public toilet...& it tensed me... My doctor said after taking a full course of treatment i will be ok... Is that possible? I have taken Rifagut 400 for 10 days, but after 15 to 20 days of completing the course, the problem came back again. Then I started the course again and one month later the problem came back repeatedly. Is it safe to take this medicine every month? How long Rifagut 400 can be used? Please reply?

My mom is suffering from hyperacidity with diarrhea. An endoscopy, colonoscopy, CT scan and sonography of the stool showed that everything was normal. She took so many antibiotics with painkillers and acidity tablets, but still can't get any relief. Can rifagut 200 help?

Dear Arunima, I still have the problem. I have consulted a gastroenterologist once again. I have been prescribed rifagut 200 for fourteen days (thrice daily) and am not sure whether this will improve my condition. I shall update once I finish using the medicine prescribed.
