I've just been taken off Metoprolol (50mg) and put on Rhythmol (225mg). I've had 2 occurences of atrial fibrillation in 9 months, with severe dizziness and nausea... I'm a 50 yr-old woman, about 40 lbs. overweght, and never had a [heart] stress test. I read the side effects and warnings on Rhythmol just now, and it says I should be monitored closely. My doctor said to see him in a month. Does this sound like a proper treatment plan?
